WORLD NINJA LEAGUE COMPS

Obstacle Ninja Academy is a member of the World Ninja League (WNL) and offers competitions throughout the season. The season typically runs from August through early summer. The competitions are divided into various age groups to ensure that everyone has a fun and fair environment to allow them to perform their best. For more information about the various league rules or formats, be sure to visit WNL’s site.

Ninja Like a Girl

The NinjaFemme weekend kicks off with Ninja Like a Girl on Friday evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This event is open to ALL females age 6+! You do not have to be a competitor. Anyone interested in spending a couple of hours having a blast with tons of other girls is encouraged to attend. You’ll get to do some ninja (if you choose) and meet and be encouraged by other female athletes and fitness enthusiasts. This event is free for competitors and members (please do not register on the website, it will charge you) and $20 for all other participants (PLEASE register on the website so we have an idea of how many participants to expect that evening).

Competition

The competition begins on Saturday morning with the Kids and Mature Kids divisions running Stage 1 (for a full rough schedule, scroll down). All competitors will get to run Stages 1 and 2 with Elite competitors having the possibility to also run Stage 3. We are excited to be partnering with the World Ninja League (WNL) to make NinjaFemme a straight to Worlds qualifier as well as a Regional qualifier - THERE ARE SEASON POINTS TO BE EARNED! Stage 1 will be a side by side course and scores from this stage will determine run order for Stage 2. In all divisions besides Elite, we will use Stage 2 scoring to determine the qualifiers. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be qualified straight to World finals and 4th, 5th, and 6th place winners will be qualified for the Southeast Regional. Places 1-10 will earn season points as in all regular qualifiers. The Elite division qualifications will be award based on Stage 3 scores.

*For all divisions, the Stage 1 side by side is to determine run order for Stage 2. The run order will be determined by the individual scores on Stage 1 regardless of winning or losing your particular race. Can’t you just already feel the energy and excitement that’ll be happening in the gym during these races?!

Stage 2 - Kids and Mature Kids (all athletes run Stage 2)

Stage 2 - Preteen, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Masters, and Elite (all athletes run Stage 2)
